Omida AI is a frontier artificial intelligence lab with a clear ambition: superintelligence that understands the world and serves humanity. We want more capable AI to expand what people can discover, create and do.
Understanding, then acting
Our research direction connects world understanding, reasoning, model architectures, learning and agency. General-purpose and open models, agents and developer infrastructure are part of that ambition. Superintelligence is a goal, not a capability we claim to have achieved.
These directions are connected. A system that acts needs a useful representation of its environment. A plan needs assumptions that can be examined. An agent needs boundaries, feedback and a way for people to stay in control.
Where the work stands today
Our work is early. Simulation is one available product, and its API is in development. Frontier models, open weights and agent products remain research and development directions; this note does not announce their release.
The new Research and Models sections distinguish directions from releases. Publications, technical reports, model evaluations and developer resources will be added as there is work ready to share.
A standard to be held to
Humanity deserves more than a mission statement. We want to be judged by what our work makes possible for people, the control they retain, and the evidence behind our claims. Pro-human must be a standard for the choices we make, not simply a description we give ourselves.
